Birthday Card for Favourite Author
As one of the com petition in connection with Reading Month Celebrations, birthday cards for favourite author or favourite book character was conducted. Students from Class 6 to 8 actively participated and prepared beautiful cards for their favourite author or character.

Essay Writing Competition was conducted for Class 9 to 11 in connection with Reading Month Celebrations.

Mass Reading Programme
A Mass Reading Programme was conducted in the Vidyalaya after morning assembly. Students and staff read the book for 30 minutes by dropping everything. Students enjoyed the activity and some of them came forward to share about the book they read.
Reading Day Pledge
Vidyalaya conducted pledge taking ceremony on National Reading Day and all the staff and students actively participated.
Mrs. Asha.C.M, CCA in-charge administered the pledge to the students.
In Primary, Mrs.Geetha S Nair administered the reading day pledge to students.
A True Book is an Inspiration
Students of Class XI A presented a skit by emphasizing the importance of reading . They depicted Paul Kalanidhi's book When Breathe Becomes Air" in a beautiful way stating that a true book is not only an inspiration but also boosts our social responsibilities.

First library committee meeting was conducted in library and activities planned for the current academic year,
Reader's Club Committee
Reader's club committee was formed for the year 2019-20 and first club meeting conducted in library. Student leaders were selected and activity plan for the year was planned.
